I am a graduate student at the University of South Florida and I am interested broadly in the intersection of hosts and parasites with ecology and evolution. This often – but not always – leads me to questions about host immunology and parasite virulence.

If I do say so myself, I am a killer cook (literally; chickens be warned!), and manager of a menagerie that includes 10 chickens, 1 dog, 1 cat, and 2 chinchillas. A proponent of sustainable living, I am also interested in plant-based diets and vegetable gardening.
